  is a joint venture between LG corporation(former LG Chemical), the leading Chemical Company in Asia and The Dow Chemical Company, the largest Chemical Company in the world. LG-DOW was formed in early 1999. Almost 2 ¨ö years later, on July 1st, 2001, LG-DOW celebrated the successful start-up of the LG-DOW polycarbonate plant in Yeosu, Korea, and the transfer of Dow's polycarbonate market franchise in Asia Pacific.


 The 80000 MTA LG-DOW plant is meeting the growing demand for polycarbonate with advanced technology and world-class quality and competitiveness.
